Hi, this is Danielle Gage, Case Manager at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with Ask a Surrogacy Expert. And today our question is: Do single intended parents have a longer wait time to match?

We work really hard to find the right match for each intended parent. We like to say that there is a lid for every pot and there are some gestational carriers that just want to match with a single intended parent. So those applying to become parents through surrogacy can generally expect a matching phase timeline of around 12 to 18 months. Thank you for your question.
