Founder & Big-Picture Problem Solver
If there’s a behind-the-scenes problem waiting to happen, chances are I’ve already spotted it and headed it off. My role is equal parts troubleshooter, strategist, traveler, and connector. I spend my days strengthening relationships in the surrogacy and ART community, building new ones, and finding ways to make sure our families and surrogates always feel supported. A fun part of my work is hosting our podcast — it gives me the chance to meet fascinating people, share their stories, and keep learning along the way.
Background & Experience:
Before launching Bright Futures Families, I worked as a paralegal in an Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) law firm. That’s where I fell in love with this field and especially with helping independent matches. Having gone through infertility myself, I know first-hand the longing for family and the joy of finally reaching that goal.
Biggest Win:
Watching our program grow to help bring more than 175 babies into the world! Each one represents a family’s dream fulfilled, and that will never stop astounding me.
Why I Do This:
Because it’s personal. My own infertility journey gave me a deep passion for helping others grow their families. I know the heartache, but I also know the incredible joy that comes when the dream becomes reality.
Fun Fact:
I was a competitive cross-country ski racer in high school!
Outside of Work:
I’m a self-proclaimed serial crafter — quilting, cross-stitch, stained glass, and even photography (yes, I’ve developed my own prints). Creating something beautiful with my hands brings me so much joy.
What I’m Learning:
Right now, I’m working toward my Mental Health Ally Certificate, because growth and learning never really stop.
My Role in One GIF: Because I’m always sharing encouragement, opportunities, and support.
