Hey everyone, it's Jennifer White, CEO of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with this week's question. This week's question is: Can we pursue surrogacy if we only have one PGS tested embryo and we don't have any plans to create any more if the embryo is not successful?

And I will go a step further and say it doesn't matter whether the embryo is PGS tested or not to answer this question. Either way, it's still the same answer. Yes, you absolutely can pursue surrogacy if you do only have one embryo. It just becomes a disclosure point for us. So we let the gestational carrier know that you are only have one embryo and ask her if that's something that she is okay with because we want to make sure that both sides feel mutually good about this decision. But if she is absolutely. And we actually have broken our agency fee into three portions now so that the agency fee is accepted upon match, a second one upon clearance of legal and a third upon confirmation of fetal heartbeat. So in that situation, if you weren't successful, then you actually don't owe our final agency fee because we're not assisting you through the remainder of the journey. So. So I hope that helps and gives people reassurance that absolutely no matter how many embryos you have left, we are happy to assist you.
