What does the surrogate clearing process look like, and will I need a lot of childcare for it?

Hi, this is Danielle Gage, Case Manager at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with Ask a Surrogacy Expert. And today our question is: What does the clearing process look like and will I need child care?

The clearing process will require you to have an in person appointment at the fertility clinic to do a physical. They'll do blood tests. They'll usually do a saline sonogram, but that can vary based on the clinic. Also, keep in mind you will want to and you do need to have child care for that screening appointment.
