Hi everyone. Ashley Old, Case Manager at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, here with your Ask a Surrogate Expert question. This week's question is: How many embryos should be transferred and what happens when an embryo splits and why should that affect how many embryos are transferred?

Our agency typically only works with clinics who do single embryo transfers. Embryos can split to twins and triplets. This is why we only recommend transferring one embryo at a time. Thanks for the question.
