Hi everyone. Ashley Old, Case Manager at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, here with your Ask a Surrogacy Expert question. This week's question: What happens after a surrogate baby is born? After the surrogate baby is born, the intended parents typically take immediate custody of their baby. The surrogate will receive postpartum care and monitoring to ensure her health and recovery. All parties move into the respective roles and everyone can grow from this experience. Thanks for the question.
