Hi, it's Janelle Ibarra at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy with Ask a Surrogacy Expert. Our question is: How much contact do I have with the intended parents? This really just depends on the journey, how much each side wants to contact the other. So this being from the surrogate gestational point of view, as you do your intake and as you do your matching process, be forthright with that. That way the agency knows that you would like to match with intended parents who are like minded. And that would be during the journey and thereafter because of course, we try and match people according to their preferences and similar needs. It's really important that you let the intake coordinator know and case manager know, and after legal is complete, you as the surrogate, can meet with the intended parent at your discretion and you can start arranging to meet on your own. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
