Hey, everyone, it's Jennifer White, CEO of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with this week's Ask Question, which is: Do I get to choose the intended parents that I work with when I'm being a surrogate? And the answer is yes, of course. You get to absolutely make sure that they are people that you're comfortable working with. We do things just a little bit different than some agencies in that we actually allow the intended parents to see profiles first. So we actually do very personalized matching. So there's no database, there's no anybody picking off of a big registry of people. It is literally, we look at it first as an agency and we go, we, we think this is probably a good match, but we want everybody to confirm it. So at that point, once we think we found a good match, we send it over to the parents for them to look at gestational carrier's profile. If they say yes, then we send their profile over to you as the gestational carrier, you get to say yes or no. There's no penalty for saying no ever. If you do say yes, we then set up a match meeting and we're there as an agency always to make sure that everything is okay, that everything gets covered, that we talk through our, through all of the big and uncomfortable things. Also we talk about some fun things and, you know, like, get to know each other better, things like that. But only after that meeting do we actually ask people if they are potentially interested in matching. So it's a hundred percent about consent. For you as a gestational carrier, do you choose off of a database? No. But do you have absolute control and autonomy over whether or not you feel comfortable moving forward with these, with the intended parents that you have elected to move forward with? Absolutely. I hope that helps.
