Hey everyone, it's Amanda Kinnard-Fuchsgruber, Director of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy and today's ask question is can I work out as a surrogate? And typically the answer I would say is yes, you're going to continue normal activity just like you would have in any other previous pregnancies. There again there are restrictions typically for the clinic around embryo transfer and medication start. So there may be times where you cannot work out or even do heavy lifting. This could continue into the pregnancy and it also depends on your ob. It depends on their restrictions. It depends on how the pregnancy is going. So the answer is typically can you work out? Sure, you're probably going to do pretty close to what you used to do or what you've done in previous pregnancies. However, you are carrying somebody else's child and there are restrictions around the clinic as well as your OB may have other restrictions depending on the pregnancy. Hope that helps. Have a great week.
