What I Do
I co-founded Bright Futures Families, LLC with the goal of helping intended parents and surrogates navigate one of life’s most meaningful journeys. What started small in Colorado has grown into a program that supports families and surrogates across the country — something I feel honored to be part of.

Background & Experience
I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and my Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. My path into surrogacy law began after watching loved ones struggle on their road to parenthood. In 2013, I opened a law firm dedicated to safeguarding intended parents, surrogates, and donors as they navigate the legal side of assisted reproductive technology.

Biggest Win
I’m proud to have been there from the very beginning — helping plant the seed that has grown into hundreds of families being able to call themselves parents.

Why I Joined BFF
Did Jenn make me? Or did I make her? (We’ll never quite agree.) Either way, I knew from the start that building Bright Futures Families meant making a real difference in people’s lives, and that’s why I’m here.

Fun Facts

  • I can do endless pen twirling tricks — forwards, backwards, between the fingers, over the thumb… it’s an oddly specific (and slightly annoying) talent.

  • Outside of work, you’ll probably find me driving school carpool or trying (unsuccessfully) to convince our mini golden doodle to love me more than my spouse.

What I’m Learning
Something new every day! This field — and life — constantly remind me to keep growing and stay curious.
