Hey, everyone. This is Jennifer White, CEO of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with this week's question, which is: Can I be a surrogate if I am a single parent?
And the answer is, absolutely, you can. There is no reason that you couldn't be, except we do want to make sure that you have a great support system around you. So, I mean, it just changes a little bit about how we talk about your support structures. You only want to make sure that you have somebody that what if you do need to go on bed rest? What if somebody needs to watch your children in a pinch or at the last moment or when you have really early appointments for blood draws and ultrasounds and things like that? Just want to make sure that you have a really great support network around you. But, of course, you can be a surrogate if you're a single parent.
