Ready to begin your journey as a gestational carrier?

we’d love to hear from you!

Hey, everyone, it's Jennifer, CEO of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with this week's Ask Question, which is is it an absolute requirement that I have to have had at least one child before I become a surrogate? And the answer is, yes, it is an absolute requirement. The reason being is that so many people who need a gestational carrier didn't know that they needed one. And the reason they found out is because they went through infertility or major complications in their own pregnancies. And and one of the reasons that the biggest reason that they want to make sure that you've had your own previous pregnancy is they want to show that you do not suffer from infertility yourself and also that you have complication free, healthy pregnancies. And in order to prove that, you need to have had at least one pregnancy. So absolutely, you need to at least to go through a surrogacy program, need to have had at least one pregnancy. I hope that helps.
