Ready to apply to become a surrogate?

Hi, everyone. Ashley Old, case manager with Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, here with your Ask a Surrogate expert question. And this week's question, Is the surrogate the biological mother of the child? No, the surrogate is not the biological mother. In gestational surrogacy, the embryo is created using an egg from either the intended mother or a donor. So the surrogate has no genetic connection to the baby. Thanks for the great question.
