Hey everyone, it's Amanda, Director of Bright Futures Families Surrogacy. And today's ask question is why do some REI’s or intended parents have gestational carriers go off all caffeine during the pregnancy? So during the beginning part of it has a lot to do with blood flow and making sure that there is enough blood flow to the uterus and just wanting basically the ideal environment for the embryo. This may continue throughout the pregnancy, just depending on what the IPs are wanting, but also OB recommendations and what works best for all of you. Most of the time it doesn't last the entire pregnancy, but again, that's kind of up to all of the parties and what they think is best. And again, it's about a happy and healthy embryo sticking and a happy and healthy baby in the end. Hope this helps.
