See how surrogacy works for gestational surrogates

Hi, this is Danielle Gage, Case Manager at Bright Futures Families Surrogacy, with Ask a Surrogacy Expert. And today our question is: What is required of the surrogate spouse or partner? And your partner or spouse will be required to be involved from the beginning. Your partner will need to be a part of the intake process and that includes a psychological screening. They will also need to take part in the matching process. They need to attend the match meeting. Your partner will need to undergo medical screening where they are tested for infectious diseases and drug tested as well. They will also need to be a part of the legal process. In short, your partner must be fully aware and supportive of the surrogacy process if you want to become a surrogate. Thank you for your question.
