Did you know we have stories on our website from previous surrogates and new parents who worked with BFF on their surrogacy journeys?

Hi, it's Janelle with Bright Futures Families Surrogacy and Ask a Surrogacy Expert. Our question is what do intended parents usually look for in a surrogate? This is kind of a loaded question because I don't know if you mean personality wise medically. I'll just give a brief overview. Somebody who's healthy, who likes being pregnant, has had smooth pregnancies and wants to help them grow their family. Someone who's a good team player and communicator, who's kind, who's going to going to be a good partner along this journey of growing their family. There are so many things really in the match meeting though. Just as the surrogate, be yourself as the intended parents, be yourself and make sure that you are upfront and honest about every preference that you have, every medical need or medical things going on so that we match people who are like minded and who will have the smoothest journey possible. If you have any questions, please let us know.
